There is so much wrong with this film. Awful visuals, the dialogue is awfully cringe, the story is cliché and fails to build up and doesn't lead to anywhere. Not to mention, it handles the theme of racism horribly. Michael B Jordan says that really cheesy line at the end and it doesn't make sense with the movie. Why are they talking about slavery? Isn't it meant to be focusing on modern day racism? I am not from America, but I'm pretty sure there are no slaves there. It's everything that's wrong with the world, this film is. Calling Martin Freeman a broken white boy is one thing, but proceeding to call him a colonizer? I wish I could write a sign and give it to the director, the sign saying that white people weren't the only ones who kept black slaves. Honestly, if you think this film is genuinely enjoyable, you're wrong. Secondly, if you think it has a good message, you need to be locked up. Complete garbage, mcu fans will do anything to defend the overrated franchise that is the mcu. Not to mention the accents are awful, which makes the dialogue even more cheesy. There is literally a what are those joke in a 2018 movie. I think it's said in infinity war, but there was line about Starbucks which was so sickening to hear. Daniel Kaluuya and Martin Freeman are the only positive things about this movie. Daniel because he doesn't have an over the top accent, his character is more laid back and doesn't say anything related to humour. Martin because he somehow put up with this nonsense. There are a few things I'm passionate about and would give an arm up to let the whole world know, my hatred for this movie is one of those things. Top 5 worst movie of all time.
